Not able to change load banks on B-G474E-DPOW evaluation board

Hello,

 

I am following this application note an5496-guidelines-for-the-buck-voltage-mode-on-the-bg474edpow1-discovery-kit-stmicroelectronics-1.pdf for the B-G474E-DPOW evaluation board.

 

My problem is I can not change the load bank using the joystick nor the TP1/TP2 and pulling those low. From my understanding if i correctly change the loads using the joystick or TP i will see an orange or orange and green LED depending on which load i have selected. I have ran the open loop section and my results match the application note so i believe i am on the right track. Any help is appreciated.
