Regarding ST-Link access on evaluation board STM32F769I-EVAL

Please let me know if normal USB cable can be used to connect to STM32F769I-EVAL board, load and debug the code or do we need to connect any other cable only for debugging purpose. Please reply with details.

You have to use a data cable not just for example a phone USB cable or other type of cables to make sure everything works fine.

All you need is a Micro USB/USB Type A cable. 

Please be sure it's a data cable not just to power devices.

Connect it to this USB connector on the board:
