Hello,

is it possible to replace the ST-Link MCU on a STM32F4-Discovery board? It seems that the ST Link on the board is broken :(

Regards

You'd have to removed the IC, replace, and then find a firmware image online. ST doesn't officially provide it.

Hmmm... okay, then I'll search for a firmware binary. I hope I'll find one.

Check first that it is really broken. Does updates see the STLINK with USB fresh replugged?

    Hi Uwe,

no, I observed device manager when plugging the device into USB. No reaction. The same on a computer on which the board never has been plugged in before.
