ST-LINK CLI V3.0.0.0 -OB RDP=2 Bug??

When trying to set the read protection on a STM32F334 to level 2, ST-LINK_CLI gives the following error:

'Level 2 is available on STM32 F0, STM32 F2, STM32 F4, STM32F7, STM32 L0, STM32 L

1 and  STM32 L4 devices only.'

This is not correct as the F3 also supports level 2 protection and  I can set level 2 protection using the GUI version. The CLI version is needed for volume production.

Is there a work around for the ST-LINK_CLI?
