St-Link error (DEV_USB_COMM__ERR)

Hello

We brought new St-Link/V2,

Now I tested with STM32CubeProgrammer , In this we unable to read serial number of this St Link (some time it shows '@' symbol) . please check the attached the .png file

Same issue we found in working ST-Link previously (after not detecting serial number shows 'A' Symbol)

Both cases it show in device manager.

May what is the issue ? Help me in this regards, it's urgent.

You are probably using a clone of the ST-LINK/V2.

Ways to recognise clones have already been discussed in detail in the Community, e.g. here ore there, meanwhile there is also a knowledgebase article on this, which you should please check.
