ST-LINK (Reason: (4) No device found on target.) custom board with STM32F303CCT6

Hi all,

I have a custom board, with a STM32F303CCT6, but I cant to connect with ST-LINK.

For simplicity, I only soldered the MCU, the 4 capacitor on the power pins and the reset circuit. I tested with BOOT0 to GND and to VCC, but nothing works.

I tested the MCU connecting by serial and I did read/write correctly, but I cant to connect by SWD.

Any advices?

    Part's not running/functional.

    Check level on NRST pin.

Make sure VDDA and VSSA are connected to supplies.

External ST-LINK, make sure pin 1 or 2 are connected to supply for board.

In order to simplify the circuit, will start with this minimum configuration?:

    -4 capacitors between VDD/VSS VDDA/VSSA

    -NRST to VCC

    -Power by ST-LINK

    -Connect SWDIO

    -Connect SWCLK

NRST should not be driven, there should be an internal pull-up, you can either leave unconnected, or connect to SWD/JTAG header.

    Check device orientation.
