ST link upgrade issue

Hi,

please anyone could help me out how to resolve the issue regarding the ST-link upgrade. when i am trying to upgrade it is throwing an error "ST-link not in DFU mode. please restart it".I am facing this issue after updating both STM32cube IDE and STM32CubeMX to the latest versions.
