ST-Link V2, device not found error.

Hello. I just got a ST-Link V2 and wasn't able to program/debug a STM32 MCU with it. With a fake programmer I can program succesfully. But when I try to use ST-Link V2, it gives me device not found error. I wire STDIO, SWDCLK and GND pins to the target MCU and I power up the ST-Link v2 from USB connector. Do I also wire Reset pin or anyother pin? I started to think that the one I got was broken or something... Thanks before hand.

Pin 1 or 2 needs to be connected to the targets supply so the internal buffers are powered to the correct IO voltage.
