ST-Link/v2 - ''Encountered an Improper Argument''

Hi,

I am using the ST-Link/v2 for the first time.  I tried loading firmware and when I select ''Program Verify'' and then select the .hex file, I immediately get a pop up window with the following message, ''Encountered an Improper Argument''.  What does this mean?

Hi Eric,

You are using the ST-LINK Utility tool, true?

What product are you trying to program?

Do you face any issue when you use only ''Program'' (without verification)?
