Hello everyone, the STM32F723IEK6 chip on my H755ZI-Q development board is damaged. If I replace it with a brand new MCU, how can I restore the program

Basically - yes/maybe. But firmware not same , it still will "know" its a st-link V3. And maybe says "error"....

    afaik nobody did this .

    ed: here he did it:

    (maybe, use translate...)

And big risk, if its not working , you just damaged board and st-link.

(de- and re-solder an BGA , you can do this with good experience on BGA rework?)

So better just buy an st-link miniE , has the 14pin ->

and your board has the 20pin ->

So it should work with the cable in the "right" position : vdd , swd,...reset , matching the position on the cable connector vcc, swd...reset.

And maybe remove the dead F723 , if it heats up or is shorted.

    btw

What you did , to be sure, the F723 is dead ?

    Hi,

    you cannot.

Because STM keeps the st-link firmware secret, you only can buy a st-link V3 (miniE or mods , are not much more expensive than buying a F723 cpu).
