Starting PROFINET Stack Development on STM32

Hi,

  1. Do you have any suggestions on how to start developing or integrating a third-party PROFINET stack on an STM32 evaluation or discovery board?
  2. I would like to create my own application for a PROFINET master and slave.
  3. If there are any example codes available, that would help me understand quickly

Thanks regards

siva

ST doesn't provide any example. You need to contact our partnumber port-automation.com

so they can provide you a such example. Otherwise as said previously, look for any other open source implementation on the internet.

Depends on your previous experience with STM32F7 or other STM32's with ethernet. Especially the ethernet.

    1. I have decent experience with Ethernet and the STM32F7 microcontroller.
    2. I would like to develop a PROFINET application, including both master and slave functionalities.
    3. Any examples or resources you could provide to help me understand the development process from the stack to the application would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks & regards

    Hello,

    Our Third-party port-automation.com offers a such stuck: https://www.st.com/en/partner-products-and-services/port-profinet.html

Otherwise, you can search it in the net. For example: https://github.com/rtlabs-com/p-net

If there are any examples available that demonstrate both the stack and application on a single platform, it would greatly help me understand the development process.

    Thanks & regards
