What is the difference between STLink V2 and V2-1?

I have been unable to determine this by doing a search for information at STMicroelectronics.

Further, there appear to be a huge quantity of broken links with the new interface.

    Hi tomkins.richard,

    The main difference  between ST-LinkV2-1 and ST-Link V2 that the V2-1 support Virtual COM port and USB mass storage

    features for mbed compatibility in the  Discovery kits.

    You find details about the Embedded ST-link V2-1 in the user manual of Mbed-enabled discovery kits like STM32L053C8 ;
