stlink v2 virtual com port not showing in windows 10? what should I do

Is this a stand-alone V2 (i.e. in the white case)? Or in the an STLinkV2 on a Nucleo board? I don't think the stand-alone STLinkV2 devices have the VCOM port. Only the ones on the Nucleo boards. The STLikn V3 does have the VCOM (the V3-Mini does, at least).
