STLINK-V3SET FW appears to be corrupt or not working.

I have a STLINK-V3SET that no longer can be connected to by any IDE/Debuggers. This includes STMCube, ST-Link Utility, and IAR Workbench. When I plug it in it shows up in the device manager as a COM port labeled "STMicroelectronics STLink Virtual COM Port" but it cannot be connected to. However utilites such as STMCube and STlink can read the serial number and FW versions etc. from it. What can I do to recover the device?

Never mind. Found the problem and it wasn't the STLink. When I went to plug our debug board into our produce it tore the connector off the pad so of course the STLink would connect to the target.
