Hello

I may have misunderstood:

By cutting some SBs off

and soldering on CN2

the embedded STLinkv3 can be used externally ? meaning on other targets/boards ?

CN2 is for programming the ST-LINK's IC

Thank you, I thaught: too easy !

Do you know "just on top of head" if that is possible ? (using stlinkV3 standalone)

In the mean time, I'll dig deeper in the schematics/docs .

    Regards

I don't think the Nucleo-32 is accommodative of this.

You could perhaps remove the G4 and access PA13/PA14 and PB3 pins via header.

The Nucleo-64 (G474) might be more accommodating, but isn't snap-off as the older designs were.

May I know the reasons to use on board ST link for external debug?

    1) It is a pure question : stingy geek i am

    2) having an stlinkv3 technically under the hand, why not use it :)

    3) i am going right now to check out its price :) (an stlinkv3)

    regards

"3) i am going right now to check out its price "

    And availability!

As you said you have one at hand, so use it.
