I have a STM32091C-EVAL board, and I'm trying to get console output on the STLink-2.1 debug console interface throught USART5, but I have no output by the STLink.

- I have updated the STLink firmware to the latest 2.29.18, no effect

- I took the USART5 signals from the

CN6

header, I have correct console output

- I soldered an header on the CN17 header, right before the stlink, after the U17, nothing, output line is allways at 0

I suspect the level shifter to be faulty, because the voltages on the level shifter pins are OK.

Anybody got the same issue ? is it only on my board ?

So you see the correct Tx  waveform on pin 2 of U17, and a steady level on pin 7 of U17? And there are correct power supply voltages on pins 1 and 8 of U17?

    Hi

    Waclawek.Jan

    ‌,

Yes, power supply is correct on pins 1 and 8.

Is there a way to contact ST to do a return ?
