Hi,

I need some solution. Issue is stm32G0b1re nucleo board is detecting as Jlink device in device manager. But I want this to detect as STM stlink device.

I have uninstall driver then it is decting as USB port. Even I have tried to install stsw-link009 driver. But somehow it is not installing driver. As I can't that in control manager.

let me know what to be done to update driver so that I could see it as STM stlink device.

Thank You

    Hello @Ajadh.1

Is it a genuine ST-Link? Refer to the following article to check if you are using a genuine ST-LINK/V2 or a cloned one: How to recognize a genuine ST-LINK/V2 versus a cloned one.

Make sure to install USB driver correctly.

Verify that the USB VBUS pin is properly powered and check that jumpers on the STM32G0 board are correctly connected.

Why not using it as JLink, these debug adapters have wider toolchain support than ST-Links.

Segger has ST-Link firmware available on their website for free download, which allows one to convert onboard ST-Links into JLinks. The website also has a (Windows) tool to flash it.

Probably <somebody> converted this Nucleo board that way.

Download and install the tool, it also allows you to convert it back to ST-Link.

And you are using the built-in debugger on the Nucleo board itself - via CN2 - yes?

In that case, you (or somebody before you) must have converted that ST-Link to a J-Link using Segger's converter:

    https://www.segger.com/products/debug-probes/j-link/models/other-j-links/st-link-on-board/

You can use that same converter to reverse the process: Restore ST-Link Firmware.

    PS:

If you have trouble with Segger's utility, you need to contact Segger for support - it's nothing to do with ST:
