V2.J27.S6 Firmware

I have an ST-LINK / V2 Programmer with the number B 2018 33 containing Firmware V2.J27.S6, we are completely satisfied with it. The service needs in the field forced us to buy another ST-LINK / V2 with the number A2021 03 containing Firmware V2.28.S7.

Unfortunately, newly purchased devices cause problems and make it impossible to update programs. When trying to upload the update, the following error is displayed: "Programming error @: 0x08006648" Is it possible to upload the first version, which works fine? Is it still available somewhere ?? Unfortunately, it is no longer available on the website, the oldest one that can be downloaded is V2.J32.S7. Will the newer V2.Jxx.S6 be compatible ??

So have you tried to update your new ST-LINK from 2.28 to to the latest version from the website (2.32)?

This should have the assorted V2.J27 packages, from my archive

S6 vs S7 suggests different hardware or BOM change

Thank you very much Tesla DeLorean.

It looks like it is exactly the same as I have uploaded in this older version. Tomorrow at the site, an employee will test whether the treatment was successful.

    Thank you again.
