What 14pin connector is used on STLINkV3-MINIE?

Hi,

today I got my STLINKV3-MINIE and I quite like the polarized 14-pin Flat ribbon connector that is used on it.

I searched a bit, but could not find this exact type of connector this is:

Does anybody know what make and model this is?

Oh, and while I'm at it: What was the reason to use this very uncommon card edge connector design, that fits to exactly one type of connectorn that only allows coplanar mating?

I really like the idea, but I would have built something that can be used in a right angle to the application board! I can imagine that this would have been very much more useful for lots of people.

    I think it is STDC 14 pin connector which is also present in some new Nucleo like STM32G4. User manual or schematic/BOM should get the answer you seek.

    Professilnal debug probe like I Jet or J Link use this type of connector 10 or 20 pin version.

    For the edge connector it is a Kyocera AVX10 board to board connector, with 2mm pitch, I guess dual row header with or without right angle can easily be soldered, or maybe the DF11-10DP to make cables.

    of course I already checked the user manual and also looked for additional info on the STLINKV3-MINIE webpage. But what I specifically search cannot be found in neither user manual nor webpage.

    Sorry to say that your answer is not particularly helpful...

    Hi .

    Thanks for pointing me in the right direction with Nucleo for the G4 family. Found out that it is the Samtec FTSH family of connectors, and also the mating part is Samtec FFSD.

    And also thank you for the very smart idea of soldering a standard dual row header to the card edge connector. Really brilliant :)
