What is ST-Link V3E - difference from V3EC?

When I saw the version of ST-Link on the Nucleo board, I saw that there is V3E of V3 and there is V3EC, but if you look at the data sheet of ST-Link, there is only an explanation of the EC version, but there is no explanation of E. Is there any support for this?

The thread is some days old but I hope this information may be helpful to somebody.

TN1235 implies the differences between V3E and V3EC by describing the introduction of type C USB connectors since STLINK/V2. See the brief history on page 2.

It seems to be that V3E is the embedded version of STLINK-V3SET and V3EC is the embedded version supporting USB-C

    EDIT:

Sorry, misread the OP: Indeed, V3E is mentioned many times in that TN1235 - but it is never explained.

There is nothing that describes what differs between V3E and V3EC

Thanks for the reply, I saw the edit  Looking at the Nucleo descriptions, there is a mention of E but no explanation, so I wrote a post.

So it does - well spotted!

    Thanks for that!

@STTwo-32 but this is very well hidden - easy to miss - as this thread shows!

The document should be clarified; eg

and are there any other differences?
