Question
Am using Windows 7 Ultimate , x86. Also tried a separate Linux Ubuntu 18.04.3 PC , with same result. Can't get Virtual COM Port to enumerate using STSW-STM32102 USB driver installation package. Get, "device descriptor read/64, error -71" reported.
Does anyone know how to edit the device descriptor when using this driver package and can explain this in detail ? The uC is a STM32L082KZT6. The Virtual COM Port (VID 0483 PID 5740) is a USB CDC class 2 device. The associated USB DFU (VID 0483 PID DF11) device enumerates OK, every time. Posted on this issue twice previously, hopefully, third time lucky, all help appreciated!
