Bug: FreeRTOS: Race Condition in StreamBuffer and MessageBuffer

There is a race condition bug in FreeRTOS 10.1 that currently ships with STM32CubeMX. A fix is available but users must manually paste it into their build system.

It would be helpful if ST could integrate the bugfix into ST's shipped version of FreeRTOS, at least until the upstream FreeRTOS vendor fixes it.

The bug has been filed with the upstream FreeRTOS vendor (which is Amazon, who now owns FreeRTOS). It is filed as GitHub issue:
