Cannot enter stop mode using example application

I'm working with the STM32L031K devkit. I'm trying to run the I2C_WakeUpFromStop example but the micro isn't entering stop mode. The program keeps running. Please help

    Hello @AShah.5​,

    I have tried the example on my side and it works perfectly.

    Can you specify the problem you are facing? Did you follow the "readme" instructions? 

    I recommend you checking the pins you are connecting. It is important to mention also that the low power mode is detected on the Slave board before starting the I2C communication by setting the jumper between PA12 and GND (on Master side).
