Changing PRODUCT_STRING in STM32 USB CDC while retaining original VID and PID

I hope everyone is doing well.

We are currently using the STM32 USB in our commercial products, focusing on the CDC class. Through our exploration of the documentation, we haven't found a conclusive answer to our specific question.

Is it permissible to change the PRODUCT_STRING value in the USB descriptor for commercial products using the STM32 USB CDC, while still retaining the original VID and PID provided by STMicroelectronics?
