Exception thrown at 0x0000000000000000 when calling connectDfuBootloader with "USB1"

I am getting exception thrown at 0x0000000000000000 when calling connectDfuBootloader with "USB1". This works fine in another program but in my current program I am getting this exception error. Do you know what I'm failing to do?
