Hi all,

Could anyone advise the current status of EPR support on the UCPD software? Thanks.

Best Regards

EY

    Hello Ey,

The STM32G071B-DISCO  doesn't have the necessary hardware equipment to support EPR.

    Hello,

By "doesn't have the necessary hardware equipment" I mean that STM32G071RB-DISCO can support up to 26V. Beyond this value you could damage the device.

    Dear Lucas,

Many thanks for following up my query. I was aware of the 26V limit but still would like to know whether EPR voltages below 26V would be supported (in my case it’s 24V with AVS). If not could I do such PD3.1 sniffing with ST TCPP evaluation kits?

    Thanks again for your help.

    Hello Ey,

Unfortunately EPR voltages below 26V are not supported either since software don't handle it. To detect EPR voltages, STM32G071RB-DISCO must ask for EPR source capabilities which it doesn't. Thus, you won't be able to detect EPR voltages.
