Hi this the error im facing when try to program using stlinkV2 on a custom board

Tried switching to powerdown mode also and also checked the connections of pcb 

 what could be the issue

Hello,

First, ST-Link Utility tool is obsolete so please use STM32CubeProgrammer instead.

Second, check the power supply of your MCU.

Third: are you using one of low power modes in the program already loaded in the MCU?

i have the same issue i used the STM32CubeProgrammer but is not connecting please help me

Hi,i had the same question,after i used STlink-V2 to connected my a custom board,i could not connected my chip(stm32f407ZE) anymore.it looked like RDP(read out protection) level 2,I tryed to pull up BOOT to high but it is Invalid。the error also is：

Can not connect to target!

in two months,this error had cause my 5 boards bircked.programes is disappeared.the chip could do nothing.

If your MCU is at RDP level 2, it's no more recoverable. So need to replace or use another MCU.
