I tried using usb and canbus with the internal HSI in stm32f1xx stm32f2xx and stm32f0xx im not going to try again.... weird random clokc relate issues everywhere

It depends on your requirements. Just have a look into AN4879.

No, the STM32L1xx does not support crystal-less USB, as you can e.g. find in AN4879.

Unfortunately there is still a Copy'n'Paste typo in the data sheet of the STM32L152RCT6, according to which it should apparently contain this, which is not correct.
