Using the STM32G4 HRTIM trigger to set/reset eight GPIOs

Hello. I have an application where I am using the HRTIM in a timing critical section of code. When the (one-shot) timer expires, I need to set/reset up to eight GPIOs, then restart the timer with a different period. It's not clear in the RM how to program the HRTIM to do this. Can someone point me to an application note that shows how to setup the timer to do this?

It's not clear in my question, but I am trying to use the trigger system to avoid a callback.
