Using TMC5160 with Nucleo H755ZI to control stepper motors?

I'm working migrating a project I made using a few TMC5160 motor drivers, NEMA23 stepper motors, and an arduino to my nucleo H755ZI. I want to make use of FreeRTOS for the AWS IoT features so I'm not using the arduino port, but was wondering if anyone has done anything similar to help get me started.
