What will be the status of the CMOD bit in the OTG_GINTSTS register when no USB device is connected to the port?

I am using the NUCLEO-L4R5ZI-P development board for testing OTG. My use-case is with OTG is a USB Disk as an MSC device with STM32 as a host and PC as a Host with STM32 as a CDC device.

I follow the steps which are given in the user manual of STM32L4+ MCUs for the OTG_FS programming model. So how can I check whether there is any device available or not?
