Will CubeMX support freeRTOS for the STM32U5? It currently only has ThreadX. Will ThreadX support be expanded?

    Thank you for your report. Actually, it is planned by our development team to support classic CoreMW such as FreeRTOS for U5 which will be released as soon as possible in GitHub. Indeed, the next patch release of the STM32CubeU5 Firmware Package V1.0.1 will support a new version of threadx-6.1.7.210903. We will keep you informed.

    Good news !

    The STM32U5 Classic CoreMW version v1.0.0 is published today on GitHub.

    Here is the link to the repo: https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/stm32u5-classic-coremw-apps

    It is important to note that the CMSIS Device, HAL, BSP and MW libraries are added as submodules with the git submodule command. The "How to use" section in the README.md explains how to clone the repository and how to get updates.
