Hello, I want to use LTDC on the STM32H743VIT6 microcontroller, but when I enable this peripheral in CUBEMX, it does not activate correctly. For example, the pins for B are from B3-B7, while they should be from B0-B4, and the same goes for R, G.  

Hello, I bought STM32H743XIH6 board and first tried to program it with FTDI programmer and STM32CubeProgrammer. It looks like the serial interface detects the board correctly as I can see it in the STM32CubeProgrammer but fails at a read attempt of 0x080000000 address with error message like "error occured during read at address 0x08000". Next, I read that I need ST-LINK to over come UART problem so I did. I'm designing a circuit to convert sensor values ​​to ADC using the STM32U073MC (LQFP-80).Unfortunately, I'm new to the STM32U0 series.I read the RM0503(Rev 4) Reference manual(page 427) and found that the OPAMP1_VOUT can be connected to ADC1_IN8.However, I checked the datasheet's(DS14548 - Rev 2 - March 2024) port table(page 32/Table 12. STM32U073x8/B/C pin/ball definition) and it seems to be connected to ADC1_IN7.1. Which information is correct? (ADC1_IN7 or ADC1_IN8)2. Also, could you briefly explain how to make the desired connection using CubeMX provided by ST?  - I wish configure VM_SEL bits as “inverting not externally connected” with CubeMX. 

Hello, I am fighting about a week to enable USB-PD comms on my STM32G0B1 MCU and even chat GPT literally told me - he don't have a solution ( shock, a?) One last try before I quit, is to try 1.5.0 package version but I can see in cube MX  only 1.6.0 the earliest. (attached). Repository has 1.5.0 folder and zip. Any ideas?

For H7, the kernel clock limit are given in Table 61 Kernel clock distribution overview as shown inhttps://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubemx-mcus/stm32h745-fdcan-clock-frequency/td-p/83540I do not find a similar table for U5 in the most recent datasheets and reference manual. If I did not look carefully enough, any hint to find it is welcome. Otherwise ST should  consider adding like for H7.

The STM32H753 Reference Manual (RM0433) covers the integrated flash memory inside the microcontroller. It does not say why type of flash is integrated though (NOR or NAND). Is it possible to share what type of flash it is?

In STM32G474 UART4 pin no PC11(Rx) is 5 Volt tolerant . If I pull up this pin to +5V with 4.7kOhms then it will affect life or operation of microcontroller? please Suggest.

Hello everyI want to increase STM32G473 FDCAN Tx buffer and Rx buffer size,In STM32G473 datasheet    >> "A 3-Kbyte message RAM memory implements filters, receive FIFOs, receive buffers, transmit event FIFOs, transmit buffers. This message RAM is shared between the threeFDCAN modules."In my project, I used three FDCAN（FDCAN1 FDCAN2 FDCAN3），However, after testing, if there is no delay, each FDCAN can only send a maximum of 3 data.This seems to match the SRAMCAN_TFQ_NBR parameter.But when I modified this parameter, the data sent became very strange, and the CAN analyzer could not receive normal data. Does anyone know how to increase the tx buffer size of FDcan? Besides this, I would also like to know how to increase the size of the rx bufferIf you have any questions, please feel free to discuss with us，Thanks！ 

Hi,  Has anyone managed to Trigger Timer 2(Combined PWM Mode, One-Pulse) with Internal Trigger 3(ITR3). The TIM14 OC1 waveform is the trigger. When I run Timer 14 in output compare mode, with an active level on match between Couner and CCR1. I cannot trigger the Timer nothing happens. If I go an manually trigger the timer, everything works.  Here is my Software to setup Timer 2 in Combined PWM Mode 2, on channel 2, One-Pulse Mode.  Image on the left is the TIM2 code and imagine on the right code for Timer 14. I have verified this works by using the debugger and seeing that TIM2 is never enabled even if the OC1 Signal on Timer 14 goes high  

I am able to do a line reset, enter into JTAG_SWD mode and read the SWD_ID. I want to know how to configure the core registers for SWD initialization process. 

I can't decipher the silkscreen markings on this chip. Could you please help me confirm?This chip looks like it's from ST, but I didn't see the ST logo. I suspect it's an abbreviation for STM32G473ME, but I can't confirm it, and the chip's datasheet doesn't provide detailed information on device markings.

I'm working with the STM32U5G9, trying to configure access to internal RAM blocks with TrustZone enabled.  Part of this configuration uses the HAL_GTZC_MPCBB_ConfigMem() function from stm32u5xx_hal_gtzc.c from STM32CubeU5 v1.7.0.I see in that function a comment indicating: /* limitation: code not portable with memory > 512K */ pMPCBB_desc->AttributeConfig.MPCBB_LockConfig_array[0] = READ_REG(mpcbb_ptr->CFGLOCKR1);but the STM32U5G9 has several internal SRAM blocks with size over 512K: Is TrustZone MPCBB control not fully supported by STMCubeU5 for the STM32U5Gx processors?  Am I missing something?Thanks,-Rob

Hello, I am trying to use the STMicroelectronics classic USB device middleware to implement a CDC class in the STM32U575 microcontroller. I am currently working on NUCLEO-u575ZI-Q. At first, I followed the tutorial on "How to use STMicroelectronics classic USB device middleware with new STM32 families" by @B.Montanari  (https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus/how-to-use-stmicroelectronics-classic-usb-device-middleware-with/ta-p/599274) but I encountered the same errors pointed out in the tutorial comments by other users with STM32U5. Hello!I'm working with a STM32G474 and would like to achieve, that a HRTIM trigger is used to trigger sampling of an injected group in an ADC. So far, I managed to set everything up and have the system running. But now, I'd like to combine this mechanism with the ADC Oversampler. I am uploading a custom bootloader to an STM32G071. When I select Full Erase, I get the error "Error occurred during mass erase." How can I solve this? I am using Utility.   

Hey,I have an STM32H757 that I’m trying to program for the first time.When I try to program it using STM32CubeIDE or CubeProgrammer, I lose the ST-Link connection after programming one of the cores.Changing the programming order doesn’t solve the issue.The code has been tested on an evaluation board, where it runs correctly and behaves as expected.Is there a recommended procedure or step-by-step guide for programming a blank MCU for the first time?Best regards,Matthias

Hi everyone.I'm trying to send more than 256 bytes of data from the host to the STM32 using USB CDC VCP, and I don't know why VCP won't accept more than 64 bytes of data. My project is already halfway done. If I switch to the USB bulk method, do I have to replace the USB CDC library and rewrite all the code from scratch? Hi, I have a question about supplying power to DSI interface on STM32H747BGT6 (208 LGFP package).RM0399 says, "The DSI interface is supplied from a dedicated VDD12DSI supply that can be provided eitherby the integrated DSI regulator or by an external DSI supply."The figure also shows the two ways to supply 1.2V to DSI PHY. As far as I read from RM0399, if I want to supply 1.2V to DSI PHY with DSI regulator, I should first deliver 3.3V to VDDDSI, and connect VCAPDSI to VDD12DSI. But the pinout diagram of STM32H747BGT6 (208 LGFP package) has no VDDDSI but only two VDD12DSI.What I would like to ask is:1. Does this mean STM32H747BGT6 (208 LGFP package) is limited to external 1.2V supply to VDD12DSI only or is one of the VDD12DSI the intended "VDDDSI" for internal DSI regulator?2. Whats the recommended capacitor value for VDD12DSI pins on STM32H747BGT6 (208 LGFP package)?Thanks in advance. 

I just spent some time debugging a fundamental compatibility issue between an MPU and its RAM, and I wanted to share what I learned to save others the same headache. I was looking at using the STM32N657 (a powerful Cortex-A7 MPU) and almost made a critical error by assuming it could work with a common SDR SDRAM chip like the W9825G6KH-6. Spoiler Alert: It can't. Here's why. The STM32N657 has a DDR3/LPDDR2/LPDDR3 memory controller. The W9825G6KH-6 is an SDR SDRAM. These are two completely different, incompatible memory technologies. Think of it like trying to put diesel fuel in a gasoline engine. Both are fuels, but the underlying technology and "communication protocol" are entirely different. Hi, Im planning on using STM32H747BGT6 in LDO mode only and no USB interfaces will be used. What should I do with SMPS pins (VSSSMPS, VLXSMPS, VDDSMPS, VFBSMPS) and USB supply pins (VDD50_USB and VDD33_USB)? The datasheet nor the application note don't say much about what to do with these pins when not used.Thanks in advance.

Hi All,I'm new to using the STM32 and honestly had great grief trying to connect to the chip.I'm using STlink V3 and designed my own PCB.Trying to flash a F/W to the PCB. I ordered the PCB from JLCPCB.I keep getting unable to get core ID as a message and I can't figure out why?I seem to be able to connect for a few seconds but than i get a message, unable to get core ID and it disconnects.When I compile a code and try to flash it, it also tells me flash successful but I don't think the code got flashed successfully as the chip doesn't work as expected and also I am still unable to connect to it and i get messages unable to get Core ID.Any help or suggestions? I have the RST connected to GND with a resistor, schematics attached.
