I am using NUCLEO-G071RB. I am trying to generate an PWM pulse. I am using TIMER 3 Channel 2. - Clock Frequency = 64 MHzWith this setting I should get a HIGH pulse of 90 micro second, instead I get 80 or 40 micro seconds. When the Pre-scaler is increased to 640-1,  I received HIGH pulse of 980 and 920 micro second which was also not accurate.

Hi,Trying to set Option Bytes over USB with DFU protocol to STM32G0C1VET6's embedded System Bootloader results in a LIBUSB Pipe Error.Steps to reproduce with details captured further below:Fully erase user flash using STM32CubeProgrammer connected to target via SWD through J-Link.  This erases the user flash (512KB at 0x08000000).  Option Bytes are at defaults (128-bytes @ 0x1FFF7800).  OTP is at default (1K @ 0x1FFF7000).Remove J-Link USB connection.Power-cycle target.Enumerate target's USB (D+ is PA12, D- is PA11) to host.  Since flash is empty micro enters embedded bootloader regardless of the state of BOOT0 pin.Host sees USB DFU device.`lsusb -vvv` shows DFU device with 3 interface descriptors:alt 0 is: @Internal Flash /0x08000000/256*02Kgalt 1 is: @Internal Flash /0x08000000/256*02Kgalt 2 is: @Internal Flash /0x08000000/256*02Kg`dfu-util -l` shows DFU device with 3 interface descriptors:alt=0, name="@Internal Flash /0x08000000/256*02Kg", serial="<REDACT

 Hello there, I use USB CDC interface and I am sure that all my configurations are okey. There is no problem about connecting and data transfer between windows and my system, but there is a problem about descriptors such as "Manufacturer" or name of comport. There are no problems about vendor id or product id. In Linux I don't have any problem about it, so I tried to find a solution about this problem in windows and installed ST's comport driver (STM32 Virtual COM Port Driver).  After I updated the driver I saw comport name as "STMicroelectronics Virtual Comport" and manufacturer as "STMicroelectronics" but these are not the configuration macros that I set. As I said there is no problem in Linux, so I tried to solve the problem is on another way.  Finally I tried to write an "inf" file as an driver to solve the problem. Hello,I recently replaced an existing STM32F767 MCU with a new STM32H753 MCU in my project that involves SPI communication with an FPGA using 16-bit data frames. Please i need help. The datasheet, says the VDDA voltage level must be always greater or equal to the VDD voltage leveland must be provided first. My qustion is: will my circuit work, if I tie the VDDA and VDD together, to be powered by the same  LDO DC-DC converter?   Thanks in advance.

Hello,I am learning bare metal programming for STM32F446RE and am trying to write a simple transmit driver for USART2. I managed to do it but my only problem is when I use HSI 16Mhz clock speed (or anything lower) I get a weird first character. Dear STM experts:     I am using the STM32G473RET6 chip for classic mode communication debugging in FDCAN, but there is a phenomenon where I cannot send information. In FDCAN-PSR, I can see an error of LEC being 5. After removing the CAN chip (SN65HVD230, R pin floating), an error of LECt being 2 appears. I am preparing to replace it with SN65HVD232,Is there any STM with similar routines to refer to? If so, where can I find it? Thanks. Best regards!

We have a batch of custom boards using the STM32H725IGK3 and have experienced several failures getting started with them as the SWD interface appears to be fried. Initially we thought just bad luck with the first couple (inexperienced engineers or ?) but the most recent unit failed after a few successful programming and debugging sessions. Do these processors need special handling or design considerations ? Our debug header follows previous designs, with Vcc, GND, nRST, SWDIO, SWCLK provided. nRST is gated with a couple other inputs to the MCU while SWDIO and SWCLK just have 100R series resistors to protect possible voltage conflict. So far just default 3v3 supply.When the boards were working, SWDIO showed Vcc while SWCLK showed 0V before any connections (expected based on internal pullups) while now the pins show about 0.8V until the STLINK/V2 is connected (upon which its pullup/downs take over). The STLINK pod has been tested and working on a NUCLEO_H723.It looks like we'll

Testing a board with STM32U5A5. VDD is 3.3VI have configured one GPIO as input with an external pullup to 3.3V through a 470k ohm resistor.The input reads high, but when I measure the input with a scope, I read 2.2V on the input, which is below 0.7VDD which is guaranteed as V_IH, but above 0.5VDD+0.2 which is specified by design as V_IH.Is 470k ohm too high of a pullup resistance?

Hello ST Community teamThe pin F11 on the TFBGA216 figure (figure 4 of the AN4660) should be VDD and not VSS according to the products datasheets (for the STM32F469N and STM32F769Nx6). That should be rectified on the next doc revision. Best Regards.II

Hi Everybody1) There are some technical o specific reasons, that I was not able to find in the various documentations, to use external SMPS for VDDCORE insted of the internal one ?2) Working on NUCLEO-N675X0-Q, to configure various bridge for internal SMPS, documentation report to remove R103.But if this, VDDA1V8 is missing and board doesn't work.I remove and install all bridge as reported in the documentation (UM3417) , just I left R103 ON, only in this way the board work.RegardsDanilo

Heyho,management asked me about a project involving 1 or 2 audio input channels at 32-bit / 200 kHz and  - here's my knowledge almost zero - some "heavy & intense" DSP / FFT algorithms for real-time signal evaluation.We're already using the H723 .. H735 family, so we have the hardware experience, but no idea about the DSP capabilities of these MCUs, and the numbers in e.g. AN4841 (CMSIS DSP) don't tell us too much - and probably also not our DSP software guys, who are working on PC only for 20 years now (which is kinda sad, when I started working, PCs and interfaces were so slow, that our hardware had lots of dedicated DSPs, so we also had the know-how).Due to size constraints, we will also probably be limited to the internal flash (I guess no problem), and it would be easier to live with the internal SRAM of about 500 kB.So, dear community, what's your experience with these H7s and its computational power ? :DThanks in advance!

Hi,I'm using an STM32H750XBH6 with an ISSI IS42S32400J-6BL, but the read/write operations keep failing.I’ve tried setting the CLK to 166 MHz / 120 MHz / 100 MHz / 50 MHz, but it still fails.When measuring with an oscilloscope, I found that the FMC_Dx pins of the STM32H750XBH6 show an extra waveform in addition to the normal data waveform during output.I disconnected the 22 Ω series resistors, but the same waveform can still be observed on the MCU’s FMC_Dx pins.Does anyone know what might be causing this? pic 1

Hi everyone . I have timer problem again. I use STM32G431KBT6. I'm using timers. timer 3 for pwm pulse direction servo motor and timer 8 for pwm speed control dc motor. But when start timer8 pwm, timer 3 is starting same time. What could be the reason for this? My timers set:   

I have a question about PVD.I have this main.c file. My interrupt function void TM_PVD_Handler(uint8_t status) won't execute when the power goes off. Why? In this case, I'm sending a message to the UART to see if my computer recieves the message before the CPU dies due to the lack of power. Have I forgot something? According to this example below, it's made for STM32F7, STM32F4 and STM32F0 series. I think this will work for STM32F1 as well. Hi everybody,I've two cards with a STM32F446 on them.My first one works very well, the µc starts a each time.On the second card, the µc starts sometimes (I have a LED on my card that blinks at start).I've checked Vcap (2.2µF), the 3V3 rising (1ms), boot is well connected to GND with a 10k resistor.I cannot see what happens in debug mode, because in debug mode , it starts everytime.Is there a mean to check something else ?I don't understand what happens.If you have some ideas...Thank you. 

Hello STM32 community,I’m working on a project where I need to temporarily disable/enable the watchdog before entering into low-power/sleep modes, but I want to avoid resetting the MCU.Here’s the context:I’m using an STM32U385 MCUI know that watchdog configuration can be changed via option bytes, but changes only take effect after a reset.In my scenario, performing a reset is not acceptable because I need the MCU to resume execution seamlessly after sleep.Problem:The Independent Watchdog (IWDG) starts automatically once configured and cannot be stopped at runtime.I want to enter sleep modes (like Stop or Standby) without being reset by the watchdog, but also in some scenarios watchdog needs to be run in sleep modes.What I’ve considered:Using HAL FLASH option bytes to set IWDG to software mode — works, but requires a reset.Question for the community:Is there a hardware-supported way to enable/disable the IWDG during sleep without resetting the MCU?Any insights, examples,

Hello Team,I want to store encryption Key - 4 byte into Option Byte OR any other memory Except in-built Flash Memory.Is it possible to write in Option Memory ? If not what could be the other option ? 

I was configuring USB as virtual com port for stm32f401ccu6 (Black Pill) using HAL. I am getting clock issues. I tried multiple times but can't resolve them. please help me.  

Message:I have configured PA11 and PA12 pins in input mode, but they are not responding — I’m continuously getting a low level from the MCU side.For testing purposes, I configured the same pins as output, and they work fine in output mode.To verify hardware, I removed the MCU and checked the lines — they remain high, confirming that the hardware is OK.Please suggest the possible reason or solution at the earliest. 

I tried to download library from https://www.st.com.cn/zh/embedded-software/stsw-stm32054.html several times but failed.When I clicked download v3.5.0, nothing happened. By the way, we network is fine. Is it forbiden to download this version?
