PA0-WKUP - do I have to care on INPUT?

I'm in need to scan a bunch of contacts in a 4 rows, 8 column diode matrix configuration. PA0-PA7 are the inputs, PB12-PB15 the outputs. What I'm wondering about is the PA0-WKUP special function in contrary to the rest of inputs (PA1-PA7). Do I have to  care about this circumstance?

If you're not using the Wakeup feature, you can just use it like any other GPIO.

A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.A complex system designed from scratch never works and cannot be patched up to make it work.

Hello @chriskuku ,

When the WKUP pin is not configured for wakeup, it can be used as a GPIO without introducing unwanted behavior.

With best regards.
