I try to study embedded linux with stm32mp157f-dk2 boardI got download my image on my board and make dts from stm32cubeide's default board settingAnd i compile that in my source's dts folder modified Make file and checked dtb output with decompileIt works with added pwm from cubemx but not working touchSo CONFIG_TOUCHSCREEN_EDT_FT5X06 is being yes in my .configAnd it works in default starter pacakge's dtb but I changed just dtb with my pwm addedso if i echo 0-0038 bind to edt-ft5x06 with my pwm dtb, it works butI wonder why this builtin module not work with rebootThanks

Dear Sir/Madam,Thank you for reading my message. I have a newly bought STM32MP157F-DK2 but it doesn't boot the Bootlin's pre-build Linux kernel image. Its screen showed nothing (no boot messages, cursor, etc, as shown in the attached picture). I received the kernel image from bootlin's "buildroot-external-st" repo on github. Has anyone faced the same issue like mine above?Thank you. Regards,ZS Lee

Eventually when we build the kernel without make menuconfig changes, It builds and runs fine but after any configuration when we run the make ${IMAGE_KERNEL} vmlinux dtbs LOADADDR=0xC2000040 O="${OUTPUT_BUILD_DIR}" command it shows the error in the pic

The STM32MP151 Reference manual says "For more information refer to Boot ROMapplication note.". But I can't find any application note that talks about Boot ROM. Please help to find this information.Thanks.

I've been following the STM32MP15 Discovery kits - Starter Package tutorial to set up my STM32MP157D-DK1 board and am having trouble flashing the SD card via the CubeProgrammer CLI. Hi I am working with the STM32MP257FxEV1 and trying to create a bare metal test project for evaluating the M33, since there is no ready example that can be created from the STM32Cube IDE I succeeded to create the project and build it correctly, also put the EV board to development boot (not SD, not QSPI), and then when trying to start the debug, it fails with the following message I suspected the linker file to be created wrong from the ioc generator, cause the addresses were assigned to the DDR addresses and not the SRAM, so I changed them to the SRAM like this The debugging is set the SWD and it looks like it connecting OKbut the problem remains and not solved, I can't enter a debug session I attached the whole project - it a very small one, and maybe someone can explain what is the problem?Thanks 

Hello, I am trying to make my own project on Cube IDE for the STM32MPU257F-EV1 Development board. However, whenever I try to run it or debug it fails. I am pretty sure it because of the configurations because the sign build configurations, that we often use for the example applications, is not one we can use by default, and I am unsure how to make a configuration that will actually allow it to run. As of now if my project just has the code generated from the ioc it is still unable to run or enter debug mode. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 

Hello  Continue to me development on the STM32MP257xEV1, previous failure with the Python crypto packages  the project: OpenAMP_TTY_echo is loaded correctly, built configuration _ns_sign is completed OK, also looks like the .bin file is generated    setting the Run configuration with the correct IP address, conneting to the board run => downloading the bin to the target is progressing till the endupon completion of the download, the board is powered on - see this in the consoleBUT - remoteproc remoteproc0: powering up m33remoteproc remoteproc0: Image is corrupted (bad magic)remoteproc remoteproc0: Boot failed: -22 looks like the signing function has a bad key    Can it be the python packages versions => pyelftools and pycryptodomex ?  

Hello  I'm starting development on the STM32MP257xEV1 (I already have an experience with the STM32CubeIDE with lots of MCUs) I followed the installation instructions, IDE 1.17 => and the MP2 package + patch => Python packages  I'm running on windows 10 x64, have the python 3.10 and checked that those libraries are installed (i.e. pip list and jupyter-lab example python code)   The board OpenSTLinux is booted correctly from the SDCARD, and I see the terminal and have a live Linux console  Basically I wanted to start with an example on the M33, and started with the following link: Modify, rebuild and reload the firmware - stm32mpu the project : OpenAMP_TTY_echo is loaded correctly, and the build of _ns is completed OK When I choose (with the hammer) the _ns_sign  I get this error :  Th trackback shows: ImportError: cannot import name 'utils' from 'cryptography.hazmat.primitives.ciphers.aead' (C:\Python\Python310\lib\site-pack

The Static IP settings of my computer are as follows As follows, My computer can ping itself Then the Static IP (/lib/systemd/network/52-static.network) of my STM32MP135F-DK is set as follows As follows, My STM32MP135F-DK also can ping itself Why can't my computer ping STM32MP135F-DK? This is my comouter ip route, Why can’t I see the ip route of STM32MP135F-DK? Is there any mistake in setting the Static IP above? Or am I missing some settings? How can I solve this problem?

I am trying to get started on Linux kernel development on STM32MP157F-DK2 board. Thus far I have been able to,1. Flash the started package and get Linux booting successfully2. Download the developer package, add extra logs and update the linux kernel on the boardI am trying to get started on kernel drivers and was not able to find linux headers in the sdk include path. I am getting linux/init.h as not found.I tried to update the include path by adding the headers from the linux source code from the developer package but am facing a lot of include errors. I tried looking for a way to download the linux headers for the openst linux image online but wasn't able to find any so far.I have the following queries,1. Can someone provide a way to download the linux headers for cross compilation?2. If possible can someone share a simple wiki/example of a custom kernel module/driver on the openstlinux.Thanks in advance.

Using OSTL 4.1.2 and build DISTRO=openstlinux-weston MACHINE=stm32mp15-disco on STM32MP157F-DK2.
