Question

Boot error from SD Card on my original board

I want to boot my original board which STM32MP151CAA3 MPU is mounted on.

However, the following error occurs in the boot process and the process fail.

mmc0: error -22 whilst initialising SD card

I suspect that the description of User Code Section for sdmmc1(SD card) node in the device tree cause an error, but I have not known the cause of the error.

What could be the cause of the error?

I attach boot error log and original device tree sources.

Would you be able to lend your expertise.

Best regards.

    Sorry, what board?

An ST supplied board, which one, or a custom board you designed and built?

Hi @clive1 (NFA Crew) (Community Member)

    Thank you for your answer.

I'm trying to boot a custom board that I designed and build.

STM32MP151CAA3 MPU is mounted on this board.

I suspect that the description of User Code Section for sdmmc1(SD card) node in the device tree cause an error.

But I do not know what I need to modify from the error message.

From this error message, are there any possible causes of the error?

I would like some hints what I should investigate further about this problem.

    Best regards.
