Prevent Splashscreen Clearing

Hello,

With the new OpenSTLinux 5.1, I noticed that there is no longer any flickering between the splash-screens. I would like to know what the Yocto configurations are so I can use it for building an st-image-core, since there is still a delay. I added the psplash-drm recipe, and also looked at the differences between st-image-core.bb and st-image-weston.bb and really only found splash to be the difference for bootsplash and kernelsplash which I try adding but nothing changed.

Sorry for the delay of my answer, did you manage to get your setup working as expected ? 

I do not get what do you mean when you talk about the flickering effect. Do you talk about the screen turning off and turning on again during boot process of the platform ?
