Problem between IOS App STRobotics Version1.3.1 and ROBKIT1 version 1.0

My freshly arrived and assembled STEVAL-ROBKIT works well in Autonomous and Follow-Me mode but not in Drive. Nor does the "lock" toggle seem to do anything.  Lock does not stop Follow-Me if activated.  

Any ideas?

Is it possible to download an earlier version of the ios control app?

never mind. After reading the documentation more carefully, I've found that the firmware these ship with must be updated with Version 2.0 .  Which i will now set about to do.
