Problems with M28W320ECT 3V Supply Flash Memory hardware defect

 we are using M28W320ECT 3V Supply Flash Memory for more than 10 years wo any problems in our MCU units now, suddenly in new production this part is gone defect several times- drawing current on the 12V programming Voltage Input, no read /write operation anymore, design wasn't changed, Voltages aso also checked( Especially 12V is OK), everything correct,

Any experience or hint what else could be a root cause for this

Are you sure you are using original parts form ST production?
