STM32MP257F-DK USB C

I have a STM32MP257F-DK board and am using the OpenSTLinux image. I want to use the USB C connector on the board, but I noticed that the USB3DR internal peripheral page says that the peripheral can be assigned to the given runtime context, but it is not supported in OpenSTLinux BSP.

What would be the easiest way to enable and use the USB C connector? I am somewhat familiar with Yocto, but I am not sure what I should change.
