Is it mandatory to use a MIPI display in order to boot the system successfully?

 

Is it not possible to boot using only an HDMI display?

Hello @VicChang ,

HDMI can be supported in OpenSTDroid boot. For Eval board, it requires a specific daughter board (MB1752A). For Discovery board (DK), the HDMI bridge is already soldered.

Anyway, regarding software point of view, there are several adaptations to be done. Android 13 with HDMI support on DK should be officially released in the coming months (TBC).
