    Hi CK.7 (Community Member),

It will depend of the required fps performance, and also the type of camera used (parallel interface, CSI interface, ISP or no ISP, whether the camera sensor can output JPEG).

The STM32MP15x or the STM32MP13x MPU product series will probably fit your needs. But maybe a STM32MCU will be enough, they also have a DCMI and LCD interface.

I invite you to look at the product datasheets to make a first selection.

Hi thanks for quick information. Can you please recommend any MCU/MPU that has support below interfaces, but still suitable for battery powered handheld device.

    1. MIPI-CSI or DVP ( preferably MIPI-CSI)
    2. MIPI_DVI
    3. HW JPEG codec
    4. need to handle 10 bit RAW images of sensor 800x800 at 60 fps
    5. capable to encode in JEG
    6. capable to record in MPEG or M-JPEG
    7. Battery based device

    Thanks

    Hi CK.7 (Community Member),

Regarding the MCU/MPU available right now, MIPI-CSI could only be supported via a MIPI-CSI2 external bridge (STMIPID02) on boarrd, these products embedd a camera interface (DCMI) that supports only a parallel interface.

There isn't yet any H/W CODEC embedded in available STM32 MPU products that we can offer right now, and we only support cameras with embedded ISP (there is no native raw bayer camera support).

You can have a look of what is possible with a STM32MP157 MPU:
