USB to TTL communication problem

tty*** is not created when plugging in Prolific Technology, Inc. PL2303 Serial Port

lsusb returns:

Bus 002 Device 014: ID 067b:2303 Prolific Technology, Inc. PL2303 Serial Port

but no tty*** is created and I cannot communicate with the device.
