Only the ST plugin package is installed, without the Microsoft C++ plugin or clangd.

 

The formatting function is not working properly. The attachment is the result formatted using the Microsoft C++ plugin (only the Microsoft plugin) on Windows.

If formater not functional let's configure VSCode - relying on extra extensions possibly -  the way you want to get it up & running.
While discussing about formater feature marketplace is your friend.
If clang* has some limitation let's report to proper community (LLVM project) and point us the issue report link for reference it may help this community.
