Dear STMicroelectronics Support Team,

I am facing an issue with STM32CubeIDE version 1.19.0 while trying to create a new STM32 project.

In the project creation wizard, the “STM32Cube” option under “Targeted Project Type” is disabled (grayed out), and only the “Empty” option is selectable. This persists even after performing the following steps:

1. Installed the required STM32 firmware package using “Manage Embedded Software Packages”
2. Confirmed that the selected MCU is supported by the installed firmware
3. Verified firmware repository path in Preferences
4. Deleted .metadata and .stm32cubemx directories to reset the configuration
5. Tried different MCUs (e.g., STM32F103C8Tx and STM32H750VBTx) to rule out unsupported device issues

Despite all these steps, the STM32Cube option remains disabled, preventing me from generating CubeMX-based initialization code through the IDE.

Could you please investigate this issue or advise on any specific steps needed to restore proper functionality?

Thank you for your support.

Best regards,
shiva
