STM32CubeIDE (MCUs)

I want to change /opt/st/stm32cubeide_2.0.0/plugins/com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.cubeprogrammer.linux64_2.2.300.202508131133/tools/bin/STM32_Programmer_CLIto/opt/st/stm32cubeide_1.4.0/plugins/com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.cubeprogrammer.linux64_1.4.0.202007081208/tools/bin/STM32_Programmer_CLIbecause my computer OS is too old to run the latest version. How can I do that with Version: 2.0.0?

I have created a project for the STM32WL33 several weeks ago, using the DEEPSTOP mode with context restoration provided by ST. Even if there are some pitfalls with this the project worked mostly fine. Hello,I was working with STM32CubeIDE version 1.8.0 on a project. I just download version 1.9.0, trying to import the project.In the importation Wizard, when selecting the correct directory, the project name is displayed, but when clicking "Finish", the importation window close, and nothing append.Is this a known issue? Is there something to do to make it work?Thank youAntoine

Using STM32CubeIDE on macos (with STM32H7431VITx, FWIW), the Debug Console has a pretty poor interface, where there's no readline support and even basic things like "arrow up" to recall the latest  command doesn't work, rather it moves the cursor up in the text. Gdb's output is black, the text I type is green and when executing a command, it gets echoed in red to the console. A while back I ran the same version on macos and Linux; on Linux on it was providing a full terminal with readline support, as you'd expect, but on macos it was like this and it hasn't improved in the intervening years. Is there some setting that I can enabled to make it a proper terminal with readline support and all on macos?Version: 2.0.0Build: 26820_20251114_1348 (UTC)sample screenshot below: 

Good morning everyone,i am having a problem after i copied the example from the example project folder to another location.i am using STM32CubeIDE 1.5.0. i opened this project C:\Users\Admin11\STM32Cube\Repository\STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.16.0\Projects\P-NUCLEO-WB55.Nucleo\Applications\BLE_LLD\BLE_LLD_Chat\STM32CubeIDE i build it, ran it, without any issue. the board worked correctly as it should. However, when i copied the said folder "STM32CubeIDE" to my desktop to make some changes according to my requirements, i opened a new instance of IDE, chose a different workspace, chose the project on my desktop C:\Users\Admin11\Desktop\NewFolder\STM32CubeIDEclicked build, i got this error how do i fix it? is there any other way to modify the example code according to my own requirnment without changing the original code in the example? or can i change something to get rid of the error?your help will be appreciated :)Thank you in advance

Is there anyway to increase the size of the icons in the top menu bar in the IDE?I am 70 now and my eyesight needs a wake-up here :)

How can I debug an STM32N6 project when using a load-and-run configuration? CubeMX generates two separate projects, and I’m able to debug each one individually when the BOOT1 pin is set high. However, it seems that if I only debug the application project, the FSBL never executes, so the system clocks aren’t initialized. What’s the correct approach to debugging both projects together?I came across a debugging guide, but it only applies to the XIP configuration.

Hello,STM32CubeIDE.Is it possible to show hints (description of the function, description of the parameters of the function, description of the return value) when calling function?I made this function (see Figure 1) and made documenting comment. When I calling this function or I hover the cursor over the function name a tooltip with the function code pops up, but I want to see description of the function (@brief parameter from documenting comment, see Figure 1).Figure 1

I have an stm32 board connected to a raspberry pi.I am trying to start a remote debug session from StmCube IDE Installed on my computer and I get this error.I haven't encountered this problem before and I don't quite understand its cause because I have configured everything correctly :- in Cube IDE Debug Configuration I selected connect to remote GDB Server with correct host name and port 3333.- in the pi side I created an openocd.cfg file which includes "bindto 0.0.0.0" command in order to allow connections from any ip.

I am working with STM32N6570-DK. My code is building fine , suddenly a hard fault has started coming. I have tried updating firmware, resetting the board, unplugging and reconnecting it, But debugger is getting stopped after sometime.

We have a custom stldr file that we generate to program external flash on our board with STM32U599VJ MCU, we use STM32 CUBE IDE with Jlink. How do I point the IDE to use my stldr file when loading code to onchip and external flash? The option to point to an external loader stldr appears on my if the debug configuration is chosen with STLink, not for Jlink.  ThanksSansh 

I am making use of the SWV to plot a 5Hz Sine Wave.The output on the plotter does not resemble a sine wave:Any recommendations to fix this?

I upgraded to STM32CubeIDE Version: 2.1.1 and imported my existing projects as STM32. I opened Project / Properties / C/C++ Build and it says "This is not a CDT project." I've never seen that before using version 1.18.1. What happened and how can I fix it?
