Apple Mac M4 and STMCubeIDE

2.0 of STMCubeIDE loads but is missing the New Project 'wizard' of 1.15:

2.0 only allows a blank project to be created, but missing the graphic of the uP.

1.15 allows wizard to run but then fails at the last step with error message something to do with embedded software, no matter what I try it always does the same.

Is anyone having any sucess of getting this STMCubeIDE to actually run as its supposed to on a Mac?

I think this is a new strategy for ST (interoperability instead of integration). So, I think you should try the newest version of those tools to avoid potential issue already discovered on the previous versions of the STM32Cube Tools.

    Hello @J_MPU

The STM32CubeIDE V2.0.0 does not include a plug-in of the STM32CubeMX. So, you should use the standalone STM32CubeMX V6.16.0 to generate and manipulate the graphic configuration (the .ioc file) (Make sure to use the STM32CubeMX V6.16.0).

    Best Regards.

I have just tried 1.17 version, after reading another Mac user has had some success with it. After logging into my account through the app it now seems to work fine.
I hope then that next version of CubeIDE has this plug-in reinstated.
