Can't set breakpoints in STM32 Cube IDE. Not getting blue circle but some other symbol instead

Folks,

I suddenly have this weird thing where when I set a breakpoint in the Cube IDE it doesn't work, I don't get the usual blue symbol and I do get the one above. I can't even make out what it's supposed to be to Google it. Anyone seen this and know what's going on please?

only one thing i know : did you set in menu->run-> skip all breakpoints ? (Try..)
