Failed to parse WMIC output

Hi ,

 

I am using STM32CubeIDE version 1.17.0 & I am getting "Failed to parse WMIC output" in the error log and It is not stopping even when the kit is connected. Attaching screenshot.

Hi All,

I installed the WMIC package in the windows and it got solved, now I am not getting the error message.

This is caused by some CubeIDE component for MPUs. If you have a MCU, not MPU - do not use (open, enable) this component.

Probably a "MPU serial viewer" window is opened in the console pane.

Heads up. Microsoft plans to remove WMIC from Windows 11, starting from 25H2.

Instead they advise to use powershell cmdlets. Note everybody who relies on the WMIC.
